The step-by-step guide, from choosing your indicator to adding it to your NinjaTrader 8 chart.

Video in English · 2 min · 12 steps

What the video shows

This video walks through the full installation of the free Trading Evolution indicators on NinjaTrader 8, from downloading the pack to the indicator showing on a chart, in the real order of the screens: NinjaTrader account, simulation mode, market data connection, ZIP pack import and free license activation.

The order flow tools that read trades (Footprint, Cumulative Delta, Big Trades) need Tick Replay to rebuild history: the video shows where to turn it on, first in the NinjaTrader options, then in the chart’s data series. The ICT indicators only need the chart bars.

Yes: the video, both indicator packs and the license are free. NinjaTrader 8 is third-party software with its own terms, and market data may cost money depending on the exchange and the subscription.

Which version of NinjaTrader do I need?

NinjaTrader 8, on Windows. The packs are imported with Tools › Import › NinjaScript Add-On, then the license is activated in Control Center › New › Trading Evolution License.

Do I need to turn on Tick Replay?

For the order flow tools that read trades, yes, so that history is accurate. The ICT indicators work with the chart bars, without Tick Replay.
