Sources policy
The blog relies only on official publications, collected politely, and takes only facts from them.
Sources used
- Central banks: Federal Reserve (monetary policy releases, speeches), European Central Bank (press releases, statistical data API), Bank of England (news, publications).
- Statistics: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (CPI, employment), Office for National Statistics (release calendar), FRED (when a key is configured).
- Regulators: SEC, FCA, ESMA, AMF (releases concerning derivatives and retail investors).
- Markets and data: U.S. Treasury (yield curve), EIA (when a key is configured), CME Group and Eurex contract specifications (tick value, contract size).
How we collect
- only RSS/Atom feeds and documented public APIs, over HTTPS;
- each site’s robots.txt is read and respected, including requested delays; a source that disallows robots is not used;
- at most one request every two seconds per site, conditional requests (ETag) to avoid needless reloads;
- the bot identifies itself with an explicit User-Agent pointing to this page.
What we never do
- bypass a paywall, a CAPTCHA, authentication or anti-bot protection;
- copy or paraphrase another outlet’s article;
- republish the text of a release: we extract its facts, with a link to the original;
- invent a figure, a date, a quote or a statement.
Citing sources
Every article lists the sources used with the date accessed. Data panels link to the official series. If you publish one of these sources and want its handling changed, contact us through the site’s Telegram group.
